Ashley Library would like to invite all Veterans to stop in November 10 for refreshments.

I have created a Richview Illinois Facebook page and I try to share things happening in Richview.

Like last week a lost dog was reunited with his owners after taking off in the storm. Thankfully a nice lady took him in kept him safe until his owner was found.

Republic Services is picking up trash in Richview. Please have your trash to the curb by 6 a.m. on Wednesday if they miss you please call 618-693-3164 and they will make every effort to service you as soon as possible.

REPUBLIC Services observes the following Holidays 1.) New Years Day 2.) Memorial Day 3.) Independence Day 4.) Labor Day 5.) Thanksgiving Day 6.)Christmas Day. Trash collection will be delayed by one day following each holiday.

Richview Self Storage has units for rent Contact Bob Rokicki at 967-6337 for all your storage needs.

Richview Methodist Church women’s prayer and share is every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Sunday morning services at 10 a.m. Food pantry is the fourth Saturday of every month.

If you or someone you know needs a Fundraiser please contact Leslie at The Lantern Pub FUNDRAISER Nights are Monday’s from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday will be Senior Day. Wednesday and Sunday all you can eat Fried Chicken. Starting Thursday night’s in October will be a group appreciation night. Saturday nights is Family Karaoke Night with J.T’s Karaoke and DJ.

Shakes and Ladders has some new and used and repurposed items. Check out their Facebook page or stop in and shop. Checkout the 20 percent off sale on all occasional tables and the other sales daily.

VILLAGE Board meetings are the second Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. Make plans to attend if you have any questions or complaints.

Please continue to save box tops , soda tabs and plastic caps for Ashley Grade School. If you have any of these items and don’t have a child in school feel free to call me or drop them off at my home. Ashley Grade School would like to wrap up the plastic lid collection this Fall..In addition to the lids any plastic with the numbers 2,4,5 is also acceptable.

A.C.C meets the second Sunday of every month at 6 p.m. at the Ashley United Methodist Church everyone is welcome.

Ashley Library and A.C.C will be hosting a C.P.R class November 15 at 5 p.m. at the Ashley Library. Space is limited so please pre-register and pre-pay $5.00 at The Ashley
