This week’s shelter dog is this young, shy female lab mix.
Our Nashville News staff-suggested name this week comes thanks to Nashville News Correspondent Alex Johannes who named her Eleanor.

Dogs up for adoption this week include a two year old male red ticked Coonhound, a two year old male black/tan Coonhound, a eight-month old female black lab mix, a one year old male black labradoodle and a six-month old female black shepherd/pitbull mix.
Animal control also has five cats up for adoption at this time.
Dog adoption fee is $30.00 which includes an AVID identification chip. In addition, each new owner will receive a certificate for $50.00 off spaying an neutering.
