60th Reuter Reunion Held

The 60th Reuter Reunion was held September 23, 2017 in the gym of the Oakdale Grade School in Oakdale.

There were 41 descendants of Johann and Philippine Reuter in attendance.

Descendants of Walter Reuter: Dude and Dolly Fuqua, Wayne and Judy Kinney, Wendy Bergman, Dean, Janet, Branden, Aden, and Brooke Wisely, Dylon and Tiffany Wisely, Jim, Emily, and Eric Wisely, Mike and Susan Hillyard all of Oakdale, Joycelyn Kasten of Jackson, Mo., June Kline of Coutlerville, Perry and Tonia Nuernberger of Alton, Marcena Austin of Alexis, Cheryl Wright of Galesburg, Tom and Louise Gibbons of Farina, Karen Probst of Watson, and Ron and Kathy Wilson of Hecker.

Descendents of Waltena Reuter Frieman: Cecil and Myrene Alfeldt of Oakdale, Verdell and Pat Alfeldt of Marissa, Kathyrn Todd of Freeburg, Betty Bissel of Chester, Kathleen Schwengles of Chesterfield, Mo., Murray and Dana Schwengles of Washington, Mo., and Norma Auld, Shirley Provznik and her two grandchildren of Marine.

A delicious potluck dinner was enjoyed then a short meeting was held. There were drawings for several gifts.

In honor of the 60th reunion a family cookbook was available for purchase.

A special thank you to those who brought pictures to share.

It was decided the 61st reunion would be held the 3rd Saturday in September at the home of Wayne and Judy Kinney.
