McFeron And Kasten Named All-South

After a disappointing end to the season, in which the Hornettes failed to advance out of Regionals, two Nashville Hornettes received the honor of being named All-South this past week. Mackenzie McFeron and Paige Kasten were named SICA Class 2A All-South this past week.

It is the second All-South selection for McFeron, as she was also named All-South in 2016. McFeron led the Hornettes with 176 kills on the season. McFeron was second on the team in both digs and assists. McFeron finished with 263 digs, and 20 assists.

It is the first All-South selection for Kasten. Kasten led the team in both assists and aces this season. Kasten finished with 564 assists, and 38 aces on the season. Kasten was third on the team with 28 blocks this season.

Nashville finished with a 19-14 record on the season.
