Sheriff’s Report – November 22, 2017

November 19

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two vehicle crash on County Highway 1 at Beaver Creek Road. Lawrence Lamar, 48 of Irvington, and Shelby Holle, 40 of Richview, were traveling east bound on County Highway 1. Lawrence and Shelby were both transported from the scene for medical attention. Christopher Moyers, 42 of Addieville, and Kimberlea Johnston, 51 of Addieville, were traveling west bound on County Highway 1. Kimberlea was also transported from the scene for medical attention. Christopher reported no injuries and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a two vehicle traffic crash on Pin Oak Rd. at North Prairie Rd. A vehicle driven by Jamilyn Martin, 18 from Hoyleton entered the wrong traffic lane at the intersection while turning and struck a vehicle driven by Carol Woker, 68 of Nashville. Jamilyn was cited for improper lane usage. No injuries were reported.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported that John D. Newcomb, 31 of Richview, IL lost control of his vehicle and overturned on US Hwy 51 just north of Yard Rd. in Centralia, IL. Newcomb was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed. Newcomb was transported to St. Marys Hospital in Centralia, IL for his injuries.

November 18

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a motorist assist County Highway 11 at County highway 22.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a residence in Irvington for a report of criminal damage to property and theft.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported criminal damage to property at a Richview, IL residence.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported a tree in the roadway on Dubois Blacktop near Pennsylvania Rd.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office took a report of Fraud from a Okawville, IL resident.

November 17

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a one vehicle traffic crash on Indiana Rd. near Hawaii Rd. A vehicle driven by Joshua A. Bevil, 27 of Carlyle struck a deer. No injuries were reported.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Kenneth L. Clark, 19 from Ashley for a Washington County warrant.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported an Abandoned Vehicle on St. Rt. 127 and Posen Rd.

November 16

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to Interstate 64 near the 54 westbound mile marker. A vehicle driven by Jason P. McKinley, 44, of Addieville, IL lost control of the vehicle that he was operating causing it to rear end a semi-trailer driven by Marcus D. Jarvis, 71, of South Carrollton, KY. No injuries were reported.

A Washington County Deputy arrested Kristen P Rybicki, 23 of Ashley for Domestic Battery.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report of suspicious activity in Ashley, Illinois.

November 15

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to rural Nashville for a report of suspicious activity.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office took an identity theft report from a resident of rural Hoyleton, IL.

November 14

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single vehicle accident on State Route 15 in between Schwering School Road and State Route 153. The driver of the vehicle Jo Ann Dailey, 37 of Nashville, Illinois struck a deer while in the west bound lane. Neither Jo Ann or her juvenile passenger reported any injuries.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a two vehicle traffic crash on State Rt. 127 at County Highway 22. A vehicle driven by Sandra Lintker from Coulterville slowed to avoid striking a vehicle that pulled in front of her. A vehicle driven by Hannah Rueter from Hoffman struck the rear of Sandra’s vehicle. No injuries were reported.
