Barbara A. Schuessler

Mrs. Barbara A. Schuessler of Nashville, departed this life at the Friendship Manor Healthcare Center in Nashville on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 6:36 P.M. She had attained the age of 77 years, 10 months and 19 days.

Barbara was born on January 22, 1940 at Collinsville, the daughter of Buck and Mary Ann (nee Patterson) Carman. She was united in marriage to Merle Schuessler on January 26, 1957 and he preceded her in death on May 10, 2016.

Barbara was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Biddleborn. She enjoyed spending time with all of her grandchildren.

Left to mourn her passing is her three daughters, Pam Schwartzkopf and husband Raymond, Susan Polczynski and husband Matt and Melody Wilson and husband Todd all of Nashville; eight grandchildren, Kristi Karch and husband Barry, Katie Kellerman and husband Adam, Nicholas Schwartzkopf and special friend Ashley Johnson, Amanda Niedbalski and husband Eric, Heather Maschhoff and husband Garrett, Joshua Wilson and wife Lindsay, Andrew Wilson and wife Danelle and Michael Wilson and wife Ashley; 14 great grandchildren; a sister, Mae Thomas of Hannibal, Mo.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Christine Bryant and Earlean Thompson.

Funeral services will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11 AM with Pastor Beverly Kahle officiating. Interment will follow in the Trinity United Church of Christ cemetery in Biddleborn.

Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, on Friday from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Saturday from 7:30 AM until the service hour.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Trinity United Church of Christ or the Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
