December 10

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to a residence in rural Nashville, IL for an animal complaint.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Dereck L. Allen, 32, of Centralia, IL for driving on a suspended license. Dereck was also cited for speeding.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to Cattlepen Road for a report of internet harassment.

December 9

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to Interstate 64 for an abandoned vehicle.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report of loose cattle in rural Nashville, Illinois.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in rural Nashville, Illinois for a report of a burglar alarm being activated.

December 8

Taryn L. Sensmeyer, 27, of Addieville, Illinois was arrested on an outstanding Washington County Warrant.

On Friday, December 8, 2017 the Washington County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Illinois State Police with a one vehicle accident on Interstate 64 near the 61 mile marker.

December 7

On December 7th, 2017 the Washington County Sheriff’s Department received a report of harassment by telephone.

On Thursday, December 7, 2017 Justin R. Hintz, 37 of Centralia, was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for an active warrant.

On Thursday, December 7, 2017 the Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported William J. Presley Jr., 43 of Chicago, IL struck a sign on State Rt. 15 and US Hwy 51 near Ashley, IL. No injuries reported.

December 6

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department received a complaint of debris in the roadway on State Route 15 east of Ashley.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy assisted the Illinois State Police with a traffic stop.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department received a request for a motorist assist on County Highway 21 and State Route 15.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to rural Okawville, IL for a report of a one vehicle accident, which was caused by an animal. Driver of the vehicle was identified as Joshua J. Lamar, 27, of Nashville, IL. No injuries resulted from the accident.

December 5

Shequel L. Sleydin, 23, of Sparta, IL was transferred into the custody of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office to be held on a Washington County Failure to Pay or Appear warrant.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report of criminal damage to property occurring in Irvington.
