Lacy Jo Pranga and James Robert Buretta were united in marriage April 29, 2017 during a 12:30 p.m. ceremony at St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom. Father Oliver Newachukwa officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Van Pranga and Donna Jones of Ashley, and granddaughter of Mary Lou Morgan and of the Late Joe and Helen Pranga and Bob Morgan.
The groom is the son of Robert and Diane Buretta of Ashley, and grandson of the late Joseph and Regina Filipiak and Adam and Helen Buretta.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Caitlin Dickerson, friend of the couple served as the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Stacy Cottom, sister of the groom, Stephanie Buretta, sister in law of the groom, Mary Bochantin, cousin of the groom, and Bailey Kolweier and Chelsea Jurkowski, friends of the couple. Junior bridesmaid CJ Estes, niece of the bride. Abby Cottom, niece of the groom, and Allison Hawkins, niece of the bride, served as the flower girls. Allie Cottom niece and god child of the groom was the miniature bride.
The groom chose his brother, Sonny Buretta as the best man. The groomsmen were Kevin Cottom, brother in law of the groom, Travis Hawkins , brother of the bride, Jake Kobus, Andrew Schomaker and Daniel Mick, all friends of the couple and Daniel Pranga, cousin of the bride. Junior groomsmen, Cody Estes, nephew of the bride, and miniature groom, and ring bearer, Spencer Hawkins, nephew of the bride. Ushers were Josh Czerniejewski and Steve Malawy, friends of the couple and Marvin Damazynm, cousin of the groom.
Readers were Abby Cottom, Erin Czerniejewski, and Denise Liggett. Madison Lewis, Michelle Schomaker, and Sydney Hawkins handed out programs and attended the guest book.
A dinner and dance reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in DuBois.
