TSJ/ILS Wins Two

The TSJ/ILS Lady Titans picked up two wins this past week as they defeated Waltonville, and Hoyleton. TSJ/ILS dominated the competition as they won their two games by a combined 49 points.
On December 4, the Lady Titans hosted Waltonville. TSJ/ILS took control early and never looked back as they defeated Waltonville 51-29.
TSJ/ILS got off to a quick start, thanks in part to Halle Rueter who scored 11, of TSJ/ILS 18 points in the first quarter. At the end of the first, TSJ/ILS led 18-7. TSJ/ILS put the game away in the second quarter, as they outscored Waltonville 19-4 to take a 32-11 lead into halftime. After the break, the Lady Titans were able to cruise to a 51-29 win
Rueter led the way with 20 points in the win. Megan Rennegarbe also finished in double figures with 15 points. Kris May, Lauren Rapp, and Raelyn Obermeier each scored four points apiece. Mallory Bening rounded out the scoring with two points in the win.
TSJ/ILS was back in action as they took on Hoyleton on December 7. Again TSJ/ILS dominated the action as they grabbed a 40-13 win.
Again the Lady Titans took control in the first, as they held a 14-5 lead after one quarter of play. In the second TSJ/ILS was able to extend their lead to 25-11 at the break. In the third, the Lady Titans put the game away for good as they outscored Hoyleton 13-0 in the quarter. In the fourth, TSJ/ILS easily took the 40-13 win.
Rennegarbe led the way with 15 points, followed by Rueter with 13 points. Cheyenne Boester finished with seven points, while Obermeier added three points. May rounded out the scoring with two points.
