NCHS Illinois State Scholars
Nashville Community High School is proud to announce the following as Illinois State Scholars for the Class of 2018: Brooke Bartling, the daughter of Nathan and Stacy Bartling; Sydney Brinkmann, the daughter of Ryan and Becky Brinkmann; Brent Harris, the son of Joel and Sheila Harris; Paige Kasten, the daughter of Nathan and Cindy Kasten; Rachael Kell, the daughter of Doug and Kim Kell; Andrew Kuhl, the son of Greg and Michelle Kuhl; Callie McClay, the daughter of Steve and Denise McClay; Mackenzie McFeron, the daughter of Beth McFeron and Darrin McFeron; Avery Meade, the daughter of Erik and Crystal Meade; Hannah Meade, the daughter of Erik and Crystal Meade; Austin Schorfheide, the son of Brent and Jenee Schorfheide; Kaitlyn Simons, the daughter of Chris and Karen Simons; Savanna Staley, the daughter of Tim and Rosy Staley; and Jacob Woodrome, the son of Lincoln and Kellie Woodrome.
The Illinois State Scholar Program recognizes Illinois high school students for outstanding academic achievement. State Scholar designation is an honorary recognition based on a weighted system that combines class rank and ACT scores. Approximately the top 10% of Illinois high school seniors are announced as State Scholars each year.
