Faith Perspectives – December 27, 2017
By Rev. Beverly Kahle
St. Paul UCC, Nashville
I cannot believe that we are celebrating the start of another year!
As we say good-bye to 2017, I invite you to reflect on all that happened – give thanks for the blessings that you received from God – ask forgiveness for the times you doubted or fell short of God’s expectations – celebrate the good times – bow your head and give thanks for the strength given to endure the difficult times – recognize the importance of family of all sorts – the list could go on, but hopefully you get the idea.
Look back, then say good-bye to 2017 and embrace 2018.
May this next year be filled with God’s blessings:
May you know true prosperity and wealth.
May your health be good and your joy be boundless.
May you know the value of true friendship.
May your work bring you satisfaction.
May you know the love and acceptance of God and those around you.
May this New Year be a year to remember and give thanks for all that God will do in and through you.
Happy New Year.
