The Nashville Jr. Hornets eighth grade team picked up their 12th win of the season as they defeated Okawville 55-15. The seventh grade team defeated Okawville 32-6 to push their record to 12-3 on the season.
In the eighth grade contest, the Jr. Hornets took a commanding 19-5 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. Nashville took a 30-10 lead at halftime, and led 48-13 lead at the end of three quarters. In the fourth, the Jr. Hornets were able to cruise to a 55-15 win.
Hayden Robinson led the Jr. Hornets with 14 points, followed by Kolten Gajewski with 10 points. Lucas Knepp and Michael Combs each finished with eight points, while Aaron Brink finished with seven points. Ian Blazier and Nolan Heggemeier finished with three points apiece, while Saxton Hoepker finished with two points.
In the seventh grade game, Nashville picked up a 32-6 win over Okawville. Trey Reinburg finished with 11 points, followed by Bennett Briles with five points. Carson Cook, Aidan Heiman, and Silas Hill each scored four points, while Quintin Loquasto and JT Malawy each scored two points to round out the scoring.
