Cheryl Ann Brink, age 62, of Centralia, passed away at 8:25 A.M. on Friday, December 29, 2017, at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on July 22, 1955, in St. Louis, the daughter of Leonard and Mary (Wisniewski) Hieke. She married Steve A. Brink on November 3, 1986 in Las Vegas, and he survives her in Centralia.
In addition to her husband of 31 years, Mrs. Brink is survived by her son, Andrew William Brink and special friend Brittany Braddy of Centralia; father, Leonard Hieke and wife Geraldine (Parker) Hieke; mother, Mary (Wisniewski) Trentman and husband Wayne Trentman; sisters, Kim Ridgway and husband Rick of Moberly, Mo., and Mary Dannenberg and husband Jeff of Cincinnati, Ohio; nephews, Jason Ridgway and fiancée Mandy Martin of St. Louis, and Dylan Dannenberg of Cincinnati, Ohio; father-in-law, Robert Brink and mother-in-law, Eunice Brink; brothers-in-law, Kurt Brink and Randy Brink and wife Pam; sisters-in-law, Kathy Bowen and fiancé Steve Slocum and Carol Brink and many other nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Brink was of the Catholic faith. She graduated with Moberly High School’s “Class of 1974” in Moberly, Mo. She spent many years as a homemaker and a housekeeper cleaning houses in the Centralia community. Mrs. Brink was later employed as a bartender at Skipper’s Inn in Centralia, where she was loved by her many customers. She frequently brought in home cooked dishes for them to enjoy. Mrs. Brink’s passions were her son, Andrew, many friends, grilling, swimming pool and mushroom hunting. She cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Cheryl Ann Brink will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia, with Fr. Dale Maxfield officiating.
Family and friends are asked to meet with Mrs. Brink’s family from 12 P.M. until the time of services at 2 P.M. on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested and may be received by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home in Centralia.
