Sue Schmale

Ms. Sue Schmale of Nashville, departed this life at SSM Health Good Samaritan in Mt. Vernon, on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 3:59 P.M. She had attained the age of 64 years, 5 months and 30 days.
Sue was born on July 6, 1953 in Pinckneyville, the daughter of Stanley and Elaine (Vogt) Schmale.
Sue lived in Nashville and worked as a nurse for Friendship Manor Health Care Center in Nashville, for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville. Sue enjoyed going to dinner with friends, bingo, painting and spending time with her family.
Left to mourn her passing is a nephew Dylan Thompson and girlfriend Jaclyn Fabri of Jersey City, N.J., and a niece Mikayla Thompson of St. Louis, a brother-in-law, Rodney Thompson of Nashville; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Janice Thompson.
Per the wishes of Sue and her family, cremation was performed and a Private Graveside service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Nashville, at a later date with Rev. James Miller officiating.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Jan Thompson Walk with the Dogs Team and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
