Vita Bartolotta

Vita Bartolotta, 75, of Cinisi, Sicily, formerly of Nashville, died on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at 3:10 a.m., in her home.
Vita was born in Cinisi on January 27, 1943, to Salvatore Palazzolo and Vita Chirco.
On June 18, 1966, she was married to Girolamo Bartolotta and he preceded her in death in November of 2004.
Girolamo and Vita moved to the United States in 1972. After opening their first restaurant in Herrin, they opened Girolamo’s in Nashville in 1986. Vita was a fixture at the restaurant and worked in the kitchen, until she moved back to Sicily in 2001.
Survivors include her sons, Frank and wife Alessandra, Salvatore, and Marcello; and four grandchildren, Vita, Marcus and Francesco of Nashville, and Thomas of Mt. Vernon.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Vita Bartolotta were held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Parrpcchia Ecce Homo, in Cinisi, Sicily.
