We’re having a heat wave after two weeks of bitter cold weather.
The next two Sundays, Zion will holding worship service in the Parish Hall due to painting in the church.
Remember the new trash pickup date in our village is every Friday at 6 a.m.
There have been a lot of deaths for the beginning of a new year. Deaths with an Addieville connection: Esther Palek sister of Marie Kolweier; Art Quirin who lived and farmed a few miles east of Addieville for many years; and Sue Schmale grandparents Sam & Linda were long time residents and Sue’s friend Ronda. Our sympathy to all the families and friends.
Saturday night was the Washington County High School bragging rights in basketball between Okawville Rockets and Nashville Hornets. Nashville won this year 40 to 28.
