WCVW Holds Annual Christmas Party
WCVW Holds Annual Christmas Party
On December 22, the clients at Washington County Vocational Workshop had their annual Christmas party.
On this day they attend a half-day for fun, food and fellowship.
No work!
A special thank you to Alice and Jim Hale.
They donated their time to play music and lead a Sing-a-long for us.
Christmas Bingo and Pass the Present games were then played by clients and guests. A yummy snack of pizza and soda was also enjoyed by all.
Thanks to Simonton Pools of Oakdale for donating the snack.
Delicious homemade cookies and candies were donated by Julia Karmeier for our sweet treats.
A special visit by Santa Claus (Jim Rabe) and his elf (Kailynne Rabe) livened up the affair.
The clients always enjoy seeing the man in red and receiving a gift.
WCVW would like to thank all who donated time or money to make this a wonderful day for the clients.
I would also like to thank those in the community who donate their aluminum cans and have the workshop as their Community Rewards from Kroger recipient.
I used the “can fund” to purchase sweatshirt jackets for the clients with our 45th anniversary logo on them. Thanks to Lee Sports for the help and the discount.
The clients had a great time.
