January 20

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy was called to a residence in rural Nashville, IL, along with Washington County EMS.
A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy assisted a motorist in rural Irvington, IL.
The Hoyleton Fire Department, Washington County Ambulance Service, and Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a business in Hoyleton, Illinois for a medical call.
Washington County Sheriff Deputies and Nashville Police Officers responded to a single vehicle roll-over accident in rural Nashville, IL. Garrett W. Stein, 22, of Nashville, IL was identified as the driver of the vehicle, who failed to maintain lane usage, went off the roadway, and the vehicle rolled over. Garrett was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and issued a citation for improper lane usage.

January 19

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy reported a stop sign had been ran over and damaged at Mercantile Drive and State Route 127.
A Washington County Deputy responded to US Hwy 51 for a traffic crash. A vehicle driven by Elizabeth S Beruman, 51 of Centralia, IL struck a deer. No injury was reported.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Hoyleton for a report of disorderly conduct.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Juan-Carlos Guardian-Valenicia, 24, of Ashley, IL for Fleeing and Eluding a Peace Officer. Jaun- Carlos was also charged with resisting a peace officer.

January 18

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported a theft of copper from a phone tower near Dubois, IL.

January 17

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department deputy served Ashley Glander, 29 of Pinckneyville, Illinois with a Washington County arrest warrant.
The Washington County Sheriff’s deputy responded to Hoyleton Children’s Home for a disorderly client.

January 16

Washington County Sheriff’s Department pick up Timothy D. Hahs from Madison Co. Jail on a Washington Co. warrant and was transported back to Washington Co. Jail
A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy removed debris from the roadway on State Route 153.
Washington County Sheriff Deputies responded to a residence in rural Hoyleton, IL for a report of domestic battery. Austin M. Wetzel, 21, of Hoyleton, IL was arrested for domestic battery.
Washington County deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in New Minden. Lucas I. Meinert, 38 of New Minden was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery.

January 15

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a one vehicle crash that occurred on County Highway 24. Jassimin M. Davenport, 23, of Hoyleton, IL was traveling north-bound on County Highway 24 when she lost control of her vehicle due to the icy road conditions. Jassimin’s vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a ditch.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department received a complaint of a child custody dispute from a New Minden, IL residence.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to an area on Locust Creek Road for a report of Suspicious Activity.
