St. Ann Finishes Regular Season

The St. Ann Saints boys basketball team finished out the regular season with a win over Tamaroa St. Bruno on January 18.  The Saints took control in the first and never looked back as they defeated Tamaroa/St. Bruno 50-31. The Saints outscored Tamaroa/St. Bruno in every quarter in the win.
St. Ann got off to a quick start as they outscored Tamaroa/St. Bruno 12-2 in the first quarter of action. In the second, the Saints continued to extend their lead. The Saints outscored Tamaroa/St. Bruno 13-10 to take a 25-12 led into the break.
After halftime, the Saints kept their foot on the gas. St. Ann scored 15 points in the third, while the defense gave up just 10 points. With one quarter remaining the Saints held a commanding 40-22 lead.
In the fourth, the Saints were in cruise control as they took the 19 point win.
St. Ann was led by Evan Kujawa with 19 points in the win. Tommy Herzog finished with 12 points followed by Harrison Zgonina and Kaden Linkey who each chipped in eight points apiece. Thomas Wojtowicz finished with two points and Adam Anderson scored one point in the win.
