Saints Season Comes To An End

St. Ann’s season came to an end this past week as they fell to Pinckneyville 204 61-31 in the Regional Semifinals. Pinckneyville 204 took control in the second quarter and went on to victory from there as the Saints could not make a comeback.
St. Ann fell behind in the first, and could never get on track as Pinckneyville 204 was too much for the Saints. The Saints trailed 15-8 after the first quarter of play.
In the second, Pinckneyville 204 exploded for 24 points to take control. St. Ann only managed nine points in the frame and trailed 37-17 at the break.
Pinckneyville 204 doubled up the Saints in the third, as Pinckneyville scored 16 points to St. Ann’s eight points. At the third quarter buzzer, St. Ann trailed 53-25. In the fourth, Pinckneyville 204 was able to cruise to a 61-31 win.
Kaden Linkey led the Saints with 14 points. Tommy Herzog finished with 13 points. Evan Kujawa finished with four points to round out the scoring for St. Ann.
