January 22
The Nashville Police Department responded to the 17900 block of Holzhauers Automall for a theft.
January 23
Officers responded to the 500 block of W. Goodner St.
Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for several traffic violations. As a result, police arrested the driver, Jarrett McGirt, 21 of Edwardsville, for a warrant out of Jackson County. Jarrett was also issued a citation for unlawful possession of cannabis and verbal warnings for defective windshield and for obstructed windshield. Jarrett was taken to the Washington County Jail for the arrest.
January 24
Police responded to the 300 block of E. Alton St. for a civil matter.
Officers responded to the 400 block of S. Washington St. for ministerial alliance.
Police responded to the 11700 block of St. Rt. 127 for a domestic dispute.
Officers responded to the westbound off ramp for a semi blocking the road.
Police responded to the 600 block of W. High St. for harassment.
Officers responded to the 900 block of S. Mill St. for property damage. Police arrested Austin Dockins, for criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.
January 25
Police responded to the 400 block of N. Washington St. to assist EMS.
January 26
Officers responded to the 1300 block of S. Mill St. for suspicious activity and trespassing.
Police responded to the 11700 block of St. Rt. 127 for a runaway.
Officers arrested Cory Sillaway, of Nashville, for unlawful display of registration sticker and for unlawful possession of registration sticker not authorized for vehicle. Cory was also issued citations for expired registration for operating uninsured motor vehicle. Cory was taken to Washington County Jail for the arrest.
January 27
Police responded to the 400 block of N. Washington St. to assist EMS.
Officers responded to the 11700 block of St. Rt. 127 for a transient assist.
Police responded to Circle K for a report of individuals fighting in the store. Police spoke to all parties involved and identified them as Daniel Bassen, of Hoyleton, Brandon Szopinski, of Richview, and Tina Hanke, of Richview. Police subsequently arrested Daniel Bassen for two counts of battery for striking Brandon and Tina inside the store. Daniel was taken to the Washington County Jail.
January 28
Officers responded to the 100 block of W. Third St. for a 911 hang up call.
Police responded to the 100 block of E. Third St. to assist EMS.
Officers received a report of a possible hit and run accident that had occurred on W. Belleville St. at S. Wood St. Britta Colston, 73 of Coulterville, reported that her vehicle had been struck by a vehicle that was backing down the street as she was traveling east. That vehicle then left the scene. Upon further investigation, Colston had struck the rear end of a parked car owned by Ryan Groom, 33 of Nashville.
