January 28

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department issued an arrest warrant to Marshall Hunter, 36 of Shattuc, Illinois.
The Washington County Sheriffs’ Office reported Debris in the Roadway on St. Rt. 127 and Interstate 64 near the west bound on ramp.

January 27

Washington County Sheriff’s Department assisted Illinois State Police with a traffic crash. The crash was located on I64 at the 63 mile marker (Jefferson County).
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested David M. Clark, 18 of Irvington, IL for Domestic Battery.

January 26

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department received a report of criminal damage to property on North Third Street in Ashley, Illinois
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of Irvington Road and Walnut Hill Road for a motorist assist.

January 25

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to rural Nashville, IL for a report of a possible gas leak.

January 24

Washington County deputies responded to a report of domestic trouble in Irvington.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two vehicle crash that occurred on US Hwy 51 south of Irvington. A vehicle driven by Cornelius C. Crosby, 33, of Centralia, IL failed to reduce speed and struck the back of a vehicle driven by Kenneth J. Tongate, 38, of Irvington, IL. Both drivers were transported by the Washington County Ambulance Service for minor injuries. Crosby was issued citations for Failing to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, No Valid Driver’s License, and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

January 23

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department received a report of suspicious activity in the area of Dubois, Illinois.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Chaise A. Deadmond, 32 of Salem, IL on a Marion County warrant.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Department performed a motorist assist on State Route 177 in Okawville, Illinois.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to State Route 127 south of Pine Road, Hoyleton for a single vehicle accident. Dillon Fehrmann, 26 of Breese, Illinois was issued a citation for speeding. Dillon did not report any injuries.

January 22

The Washington County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Illinois State Police by performing a motorist assist on Interstate 64 at the 38 mile marker.
