A suspect, Jordan T. Macbeth, 18, of Virginia was charged with the armed robbery of the Little Nashville BP Station that occurred on the afternoon of January 31.
MacBeth turned himself in to authorities in Madera County, California, after discovering that he was wanted.
Macbeth is currently being held at the Madera County Jail.
In addition to the armed robbery charge awaiting him in Washington County, Macbeth was also wanted for a military desertion warrant issued by the United States Army.
Nashville Police Chief Brian Fletcher stated that provided he did not make bail, set at $250,000, he would be transferred to Washington County Jail where he would await trial.
Fletcher stated that the details of scheduling a transfer, along with deciding whether Macbeth would be tried first on the charges here or on the military desertion charges, would end up being decided by the various law enforcement agencies and courts that were involved at a later date.
