This Week’s Shelter Cat – February 14, 2018

The Washington County Animal Control Department has been keeping the streak up of not having a lot of animals sitting in the shelter. Currently, this male cat is the only animal available for adoption.
Dolly with the Partners for Pets told us that he is neutered and is up-to-date on his shots, and she adds, “he is a very friendly boy and he is lonesome.”
This guy’s Nashville News staff-suggested name is Melkor, but feel free to call him Morgoth if he’s bad. Grandiose names are always entertaining for cats and anything Tolkien-related is entertaining to the editor.
The dog adoption fee is $30, which includes an AVID idenitfication chip. In addition, each new owner will receive a certificate for $50 off of spaying or neutering.
All animals can be seen (including new arrivals) on the Washington County Animal Control Facebook page located www.facebook.com/Washington-County-IL-Animal-Control-1457124404361161/
