Sunday, February 25 is the annual Fried and Smoked Chicken Dinner at the Hoyleton Community Club. Please see our ad in this week’s Nashville News. A delicious meal is served for $10 for an adult; Children 4-12 eat for $5.00 – 3 and under are free. Your meal includes your drink and dessert. Serving begins at 10:30 a.m. and will continue to 1:00 p.m.
February 25, the Second Sunday of Lent, Pastor Bill Causer will continue with “The Season of Sacred Stories” for the 10:00 am Worship at Zion UCC. The Scriptures are from Psalm 16:8 and John 6:16-21 – “But these (stories) are written that you may believe”. Jeff Spinks will be the organist. Children’s Sessions are held on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am.
Looking ahead, on March 4th the Council and anyone else interested, will meet after Worship to continue the 12 Keys Planning sessions.
We will have a light lunch and meet until about 1:30 pm. ALL ARE WELCOME.
The Queen of Hearts drawing is rolling into its fourth week and the lucky lady has not shown her face yet.
Tickets are available at Kretzer’s Bar and Grill and the drawing is Sunday at 4:00 p.m.
