February 17
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious vehicle in New Minden, IL.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle off the roadway on US Highway 51.
A Washington County deputy responded to a one vehicle accident on County Highway 18 near Sycamore Road. Zackery R. Keller, 31 of Centralia lost control on slick roads, drove down an embankment and ended up in the creek. Also responding were Washington County Ambulance and Hoyleton Fire.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle crash on State Route 177 near Hoyleton, Illinois. A vehicle driven by, Crystalyn Huge, 36, of Hoyleton, IL lost control due to the slick road conditions and traveled off the roadway striking a sign. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was driven from the scene.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office took a theft report from rural Nashville, IL.
A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy assisted Nashville Police Department with reported domestic trouble.
February 16
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Matthew P. Kirkland, 24, of Steeleville, IL for driving while license suspended. Matthew was also given a verbal warning for an equipment violation.
A Washington County Deputy responded to rural Irvington for a traffic crash. A vehicle driven by Jason T Erbres, 36 of Centralia was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Seth A Edmonson, 20 of Centralia. Erbres was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office conducted a welfare check at a residence in rural Nashville, IL.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy took a burglary report from rural Coulterville, IL resident.
February 14
A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a domestic disturbance in Hoyleton.
Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Addieville area for a report of a subject walking. Deputies checked the area but were unable to locate the subject.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Lucas I. Meinert, 38 of New Minden, IL on a Violation of Order of Protection.
Jeffrey A. Scott, 42 of Ashley, was arrested and issued citations by a Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy for disobeying a stop sign, driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and driving under the influence.
