Titans Take First Place In Central City Tournament

The Trinity St. John/Immanuel Lutheran Titans played in the Central City 7th Grade Tournament this past week. The first game of the tournament was on February 20 against Odin. The Titans defeated Odin 38-22.
Scoring for the Titans was Jack Kroeger and Kendall Vallett with eight points each, Parker Renken six points, Zach Brinkmann with four, Owen Dunn, Lucas Wajtowicz, Evan Perry, John Blumhorst, Dillon Teter and Connor Davis all with two points each.
The second match of the tournament was held on February 21 against Central City. The Titans in a tough fought battle beat Central City 35-27.
Scoring for the Titans was Renken with 13 points, Vallett with 12, Kroeger with five, Blumhorst three and Teter with two points.
The Titans played the championship game of the tournament on February 22 against Selmaville. The game came down to the last few minutes with the Titans winning the tournament beating Selmaville 40-38.
Scoring for the Titans was Vallett with 13 points, Renken ten, Krueger nine, Blumhorst six, and Teter with two points.
After the games conclusion Parker Renken was named to the All-Tournament team, and Kendall Vallett was awarded the MVP of the tournament.
