Winona A. Huckshold

Mrs. Winona A. Huckshold of Nashville, departed this life at Washington County Hospital on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 11:05 PM. She had attained the age of 96 years, 2 months and 15 days.
Mrs. Huckshold was born on December 20, 1921 in North Prairie, Washington County, the daughter of Waldo and Anna (nee Krughoff) Brink. She was united in marriage to Elmer Huckshold on February 27, 1946 in St. Louis, Mo., and he preceded her in death on March 17, 1972.
Winona was a homemaker and a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Nashville. She was also a member of the Red Hat Ladies, Washington County Home Extension and a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts. Winona loved her pets, her garden and she enjoyed traveling. Winona lived life to the fullest.
Left to mourn her passing is her two children, Karl Huckshold and wife Kristine of Nashville, and Kristine Schaeffer and husband Rodney of Trenton; four grandchildren, Matthew and Jessica Schaeffer and Andy and Elizabeth Horstmeyer; a nephew, Stephen Clouser and wife Jan of Bound Brook, N.J.; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, Karla Huckshold and a sister, Minerva Clouser.
Funeral services will be held at the St. Paul United Church of Christ of Nashville, on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 10 AM with Rev. Beverly Kahle officiating. Interment will follow in the North Prairie Cemetery of Hoyleton.
Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, on Sunday from 5 PM until 7 PM and at the church on Monday from 9 AM until the service hour.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the DuBois Center or the Washington County Partners for Pets and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
