Ruby Red Jewels “Stay Local” For March Meeting

The Ruby Red Jewels include, FROM LEFT, FRONT ROW, Sandy Turner and Helen Bleisch, BACK ROW, Georgine Hawley May, Judy Heiman, Mary Ann Borowiak, Marge Rensing and Jerry Heggemeier. NOT PICTURED, Nancy Meade.

The Ruby Red Jewels gathered at the Bakery Nook in Nashville for their March meeting, hosted by Judy Heiman.
Those arriving appreciated the bright, warmer spring weather.
In addition to Ms. Heiman, those attending included Helen Bleisch, Sandy Turner, Mary Ann Borowiak, Marge Rensing, Jerry Heggemeier, Nancy Meade and Georgine Hawley May.
Of course, the Bakery Nook reflected the colorful arrival of Easter inside as well as outside. With an array of brunch-style items on the menu available, sitting at the tables with an overhang of bunches of large carrots awaiting the Easter Bunny, the ladies determined their selections for lunch.
Before dining, Queen Mother Sandy Turner offered a brief meeting.
Everyone welcomed the newest member, Nancy Meade of Nashville.
Congenial dining and conversation continued, ending with the decision to “stay local”, and visit Lee’s Variety for some springtime shopping.
The final treat for the day after this was a stop at Nashville Dairy Queen.
