Woodrome Named To 2018 IHSA All-State Academic Team Honorable Mention

Nashville Community High School senior Jacob Woodrome was announced as part of the 2018 IHSA All-State Academic Team presented by Caterpillar,  Honorable Mention.
Every IHSA school could nominate one male and one female athlete to be a part of the team. Nominees must possess at least a 3.50 GPA on a 4.0 scale at the end of their seventh semester, and must have participated in at least two IHSA sponsored activities during each of the last two years of high school and demonstrated outstanding citizenship.
One male winner and one female winner from each of the seven IHSA divisions were selected initially with the final twelve spots being chosen from at-large candidates from anywhere in the state. The IHSA received over 400 nominations.
Woodrome is a member of the NCHS Hornet baseball team, as well as the NCHS Scholar Bowl team. Woodrome will play baseball at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology after graduation.
