Baseball Sub-Sectionals Released

IHSA Class 2A Baseball Sub-Sectionals were released this past week. The Hornets will again play in the Sauget (GCS Park) Super-Sectional. Nashville was placed in Sub-Sectional B of the Harrisburg Sectional.
The teams joining Nashville in Sub-Sectional B are: Benton, Trico, Chester, DuQuoin, Pinckneyville, Red Bud, Sparta, Waltonville (Coop), and Zeigler (Z-Royalton) (Coop). The two regional sites in Sub-Sectional B are DuQuoin and Pinckneyville.
There are ten teams in Sub-Sectional A of the Harrisburg Sectional. The teams are: Anna-Jonesboro, Carmi-White County, Eldorado, Fairfield, Harrisburg, Johnston City (Coop), McLeansboro (Hamilton County), Mt. Carmel. Vienna, and West Frankfort. The two Regional sites in Sub-Sectional A are Johnston City and McLeansoboro.
