Nashville will have a new grocery store soon, it’s going to be called Country Mart and it will occupy the building that Tom’s Priced Right Foods was in until their recent closure, 1521 W. St. Louis Street.
While the store is new, there will be a familiar face there as well – Brian Rusiewski, who previously ran the Stratmann’s IGA and the Nashville Kroger, will manage the Country Mart.
Right now, Rusiewski is very, very busy preparing the store for its opening, but he can’t do it alone.
If people in the area are looking for work, Country Mart is looking to hire anywhere from 25 to 40 full and part time employees to work as stockers, conditioners, deli, bakery and floral staff, cashiers, baggers, and staff for pricing integrity, service desk, carry out service, cleaning and more.
Those who wish to apply should have a flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Country Mart is owned by Admiral Parkway, Inc. Those seeking to apply for one of the positions being offered at Country Mart should head to their website at admiralparkway.com and apply there.
Along with hiring a staff for the store, Rusiewski is also overseeing the physical preparations for the location as well, which include a lot of renovations before the grand opening (the date of which will be announced as soon as it is set).
The store will feature both a full deli and bakery, fresh produce, meat, and both name-brand and private label groceries. There will also be an extensive selection of both frozen and dairy items for customers to choose from.
