KC Agriculture Program Holds Advisory Board Meeting

KC Professor Aaron Heinzmann, Scott Eversgerd of Pioneer (Nashville); Kyle Heimann of The Equity (Aviston); Daniel Mondt of Monsanto (Aviston); Gary Kennedy of the Clinton & Marion County Farm Bureau (Carlyle); KC Professor Bill Waggoner; and Dean Dittmar District V FCAE (O’Fallon).

The Kaskaskia College Agriculture Advisory Board recently met and discussions included current program status, enrollment trends, course needs and program responsiveness to key stakeholder needs.
Additionally the advisory council was updated on projects ongoing with Nutrient Loss Reduction Strategy study in conjunction with the Clinton County Farm Bureau and research studies being conducted at the Brownstown Research Station in partnership with the Fayette County Farm Bureau, South Central FS in Vandalia, and many other key contributors.
