Sheriff’s Report – April 4, 2018

April 2

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a one vehicle crash on Huron St. in Irvington. Alyssa M. Ilbery, 20 from Kell, IL was attempting to turn right when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a culvert. No injuries were reported.
A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested James E. Garner, 45 of Centralia for a Washington County warrant.
A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to remove debris in the roadway on I64.
A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy took a report of a civil matter from a resident of rural Addieville.

April 1

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to U.S. Highway 51 south of Posen Road. A vehicle driven by Allen Hirsch of Wamac left the roadway and overturned. Hirsch’s passenger was transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries.
A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy assisted the Perry County Sheriff’s Office with a traffic crash on State Rt. 127.
A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to State Route 127 South of Posen Road for a single vehicle accident. A vehicle driven by Daisy Watkins of Murphysboro lost control and struck a ditch. No injuries were reported.

Washington County deputies, Washington County Ambulance and Okawville Fire responded to a 1 car traffic accident on County Highway 12 near Johannisburg Road. Stella A. Williams, 84 of Mascoutah ran off the road striking a ditch.

March 31

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported Suspicious Activity from a DuBois, IL residence.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Clariman for a Welfare Check.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office took a fraud report from a resident of rural Okawville, Illinois.

March 30

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address in Hoyleton for a Welfare Check.
A Washington County deputy responded to a 1 car traffic accident on State Route 15 east of Orchard Rd. Mary E. Booker, 26 of Irvington ran off the road striking a utility pole. No injuries were reported.
A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to West Jason Court in Richview for a report of suspicious activity.

March 29

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy assisted the Illinois State Police with a single vehicle traffic crash on I-64.
A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to Church Street in Venedy for a report of suspicious activity.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Mahala F. Hails, 22, of Oakdale, IL for Driving Under the Influence. Mahala was also cited for operating a vehicle with no insurance.

March 28

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a motorist assist on Carpenter Rd.

March 27

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy assisted Irvington Police Department in Irvington, IL on a call that was reported as suspicious activity.
A Washington County Sheriff’s Office took a report of criminal damage to property at a residence in New Minden, IL.

A Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a report of theft on State Route 127.
