Just like most of the humans around here, Speckles is ready for some warmer weather.
Last week, when Dolly with the Partners for Pets sent us the photo of this week’s Shelter Dog, there was only one there – Speckles, a female bird dog mix, about a year old, who was featured as the pet of the week two weeks ago. Speckles is back now, and Speckles, Dolly (and all the rest of us too) are ready for spring weather to be here – so Speckles is wearing a sun visor to prepare for warmer days.
Now Speckles has been joined at the shelter by a few pals, so stop by, come meet the animals, and maybe take one home too. The other dogs available include, Spicey, a five-month-old femalre pit/boxer mix, a Bo, a one-year-old male boxer, and Jackson, a one-year-old male boxer.
There are no cats available for adoption at this time.
The dog adoption fee is $30, which includes an AVID identification chip. In addition, each new owner will receive a certificate for $50 off of spaying or neutering.
Visit the Partners for Pets on Facebook at www.facebook.com/nashvilleilpound and see all the animals at the shelter. Follow them and the Washington County Animal Control page, and like and share those photos – even if you can’t adopt, getting them out there can help to put them in front of someone who can.
