Howard L. “Bud” Kinder

Howard L. “Bud” Kinder of Nashville, departed this life at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond Heights, Mo., on Thursday, April 5, 2018. He had attained the age of 67 years, 1 month and 12 days.
Bud was born on February 23, 1951 in Sparta, the son of Howard L. and Delores (nee Wright) Kinder, Sr. He was united in marriage to Deborah Reuter on May 4, 1974 at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Nashville, and she survives his passing.
Bud worked as a system analyst for Honeywell and Macy’s for over 30 years, until his retirement. He was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Nashville, and he served on the Nashville Theater Board. Bud enjoyed boating, four-wheeling, playing with his grandchildren and watching basketball with his friend Doug Lueker.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Deb Kinder of Nashville; three children, Heath Kinder and wife Andrea, Mandi Povolish and husband Joshua and Christian Kinder and wife Katie all of Nashville; six grandchildren, Zeke and Ava Kinder, Kinley and Kanon Povolish, and Ruger and Scotlyn Kinder; a sister, Jane Kinder of Mt. Vernon; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Jones and husband Jerry and Betty Lurker and husband Doug, all of Nashville; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Bill Ahlers.
Funeral services will be held at the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Nashville, on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11 AM with Pastor Beverly Kahle officiating. Per the wishes of Bud and his family, cremation will be performed after the funeral service.
Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, on Sunday from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Monday from 7:30 AM until 9 AM and then at the church from 10 AM until the service hour.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Nashville Theater or the Nashville Fire Department and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
