The KC Hall has the Brat Pack performing on Saturday, April 28. Doors open at 6:00 and the band starts at 8:00. Also at the KC is the Queen of Hearts every Tuesday evening and fish fries every Friday.
The White Hall’s back room is now open with a pool table and darts. I have tried the smoked ribs and they fall off the bone! Delicious!
June 2 is our village yard sale.
June 10 the Village Park is hosting “Grillin’ and Chillin’”. There will be activities all afternoon and serving portions will be served at 5:00. Buy a ticket, try all the specialties and vote for your favorite!
June 13 is a free concert in the park with The Polka Connection. It starts at 6:00 and food, snacks, refreshments will be there.
The Farmers Market at the park will be every Tuesday from 4 – 7. There is no charge to vendors and they may set up under the pavilion on a first come basis.
Finally, the Mule Barn plans on hosting a special guest, Noah Elliott. Noah is a native of St. Charles, Mo., and has won bronze and gold medals for snowboarding events at the Paralympics in Pyeongchang.
He lost a portion of his leg due to bone cancer in 2015. Local, Brad Szpotanski, works with Noah’s dad. Together they are planning a “Meet and Greet” at the Mule Barn. There will be more info to follow at the date gets set. Such exciting news for our little town!
