The Nashville Police Department responded to the 400 block of E. Lebanon Street for a minor traffic crash.
Officers responded to the17300 block of Mockingbird Road for an unwanted subject.
Police responded to the 500 block of S. Kaskaskia St. for a theft.
Officers responded to the 11500 block of State Route 127 for a reckless driver.
Police responded to the jail for inmates fighting.
Nashville Police located a stolen vehicle in the parking lot of Hardee’s at 180 S. Mill St. Police subsequently arrested Kirstyn Sterns, of Oakdale, for possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of methamphetamines, and for endangering the life or health of a child. Sterns was taken to Washington County Jail where she was placed on a felony hold. The stolen vehicle was impounded and secured for safe-keeping.
Nashville Police were advised of a hit-and-run which occurred on I-64 eastbound at the 36 mile marker. Police checked the area north of town and located the suspect vehicle at the BP gas station.
Police spoke with the driver, John Aston, of Missouri, who advised that he was swerving to avoid hitting a large tire in the roadway. Police spoke with the Illinois State Police who advised that the victim did not want to file a police report and that the tire is what hit their vehicle.
Officers responded to the cell tower on Co. Hwy. 11 to assist the Sheriff’s Department with an active copper theft.
Police responded to the 18500 block of Enterprise Avenue for a minor traffic accident.
Officers went to St. Rt. 127 and Mockingbird Road for a stalled vehicle blocking the roadway.
Police headed to the 700 block of N. Broadway for an alarm.
Officers responded to the I 64 eastbound on-ramp for a motorist assist.
Nashville Police received a report of a possible drunk driver southbound from McDonald’s. Police located the vehicle, subsequently arresting Jennifer Lawrence, of Nashville, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Lawrence was also cited for improper lane usage and illegal transportation of alcohol. Lawrence was taken to the Washington County Jail without incident.
Police responded to the 1100 block of N. Mill St. for a child custody dispute.
Officers responded to the 700 block of S. Heaman St. to assist EMS.
Police responded to the 100 block of E. Scott St. for a domestic dispute.
Officers responded to the I64 westbound off-ramp for a vehicle blocking the roadway.
Police responded to S. Mill St. at E. Gorman St. for a reckless driver.
Officers responded to the 800 block of S. Kaskaskia St. for an uncontrollable subject.
Police responded to the 100 block of E. Elm St. for a welfare check.
Nashville Police responded to a two-car crash on E. St. Louis St. and S. Kaskaskia St. Mary Gaines, of Nashville, was traveling east when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by Curtis Backs, of Addieville, which was attempting to make a left turn onto S. Kaskaskia. Backs advised that he had not seen Gaines’ vehicle approaching as he initiated the turn. Both vehicles received minor damage to the front left and both were able to be driven from the scene. No injuries were reported from the crash.

Police responded to the 100 block of N. Mill St. for a vehicle lock out.
Officers headed to the 1300 block of S. Mill St. for ministerial alliance aid.
Police went to the 600 block of E. National Mine Road for a welfare check.
Nashville Police were notified of a possible hit-and-run by the Illinois State Police. Nashville Police located the vehicle matching the description on the 300 block of N. Broadway, made contact with the driver and notified ISP. Police remained on scene until ISP had completed their investigation.
Officers responded to the 600 block of E. Lebanon St. for a civil dispute.
Police headed to the 400 block of N. Hoffman St. for harassment.
Officers responded to the 400 block of S. Friendship Drive for indecent exposure.
