NCHS Hosts Organizational Contest, Groups Score Well
NCHS hosted IHSA Organizational Contest on Saturday, April 13 and 14.
Ten bands and ten choirs competed during the contest.
Organizational contest is for large ensembles including concert bands, jazz bands, concert choirs, jazz choirs, and show choirs.
NCHS had an outstanding contest.
Competing in the two day event from NCHS were, the Concert Band, Jazz Band, Mixed Choir, TOP, and Jazz Choir.

All four ensembles received superior ratings. The Jazz Choir won the “Best of the Day” award on Friday and the Mixed Choir won the “Best of the Day” award on Saturday.

Concert Band had the highest score of any concert band in the contest.
NCHS placed 9th in IHSA sweepstakes points this year. This marks the 10th year in a row that Nashville has been in the top ten in IHSA sweepstakes points.
