Hi, it’s Becki from Nashville Grade School with the events for grades K-4 for the week of April 23 – April 27.
Thank you for your participation in our blood drive last week. Mrs. Bartling’s class had the highest participation on the Primary School side. They win a pizza party!!
Monday, April 23 students with two or fewer detentions in April will enjoy Bounce Houses during their PE time. Be sure your child wears comfy socks to school on Monday! THANKS to our PSO for funding this FUN event for our kids!
Wednesday, April 25 is Lego Club for second – eight grade students. Lego club is in the middle school cafeteria, please pick your child up at 4:00. Students enrolled in Jr. Hornets are able to go there after Lego Club is over.
Friday, April 27 is Hat Day for the Relay for Life. Students who bring in $1 can wear a hat to school.
Looking ahead:
Our Grandparent’s Day Program will be Friday, May 4 at 1:30 in the afternoon followed by room visits.
Our “Kick Off To Summer Morning” will be Thursday, May 17! This is a fun morning of outdoor games, volunteers will be needed. More information will be coming soon!
Eighth Grade Graduation will be Friday, May 18 at 7:00pm.
Monday, May 21 is Kindergarten Graduation and our Primary School Awards Assembly at 10:30am. May 21 is also our last day of school with an 11:30 dismissal. There will not be Jr Hornets on the last day of school
The Nashville Golf Course will be having a Junior Golf Clinic in July. Flyers are available at school, if you have questions, you may contact Mr. Finke 327-3055 ext. 215
The Blue Racers are registering swimmers for summer swim team. Forms are available at school and need to be turned in by May 10.

NCHS Summer camps registrations forms are due to the high school by Monday, April 30. More information is available on their website, www.nashville-k12.org.
Keep collecting Box Tops for Education! This year’s total so far is $1,193. A huge thank you to Emily Ibendahl for conducting this fundraiser for us!
