Hornets Win Pinckneyville Open Meet

The Nashville Hornets boys track team won the Pinckneyville Open meet on April 30. Seven teams competed at the meet. The Hornets have two meets this week as they compete in the Chuck Oyler Invitational on May 2 at 4 p.m. in Benton and at the DuQuoin Invite on May 4 at 4 p.m.
The Hornets finished with 163 points at the Pinckneyville Open. Pinckneyville finished second with 117 points, followed by DuQuoin with 99 points. Wesclin finished in fourth, Hamilton County in fifth, Chester in sixth, and Okawville in seventh.
The Hornets had just two first place finishes at the meet. Brandon Schnitker won the 3200M Run and Daymeon Baugh won the High Jump.
