Third Set Of Bricks Added To Hoyleton Veterans Memorial

Bach Landscaping, of Carlyle, arrived in Hoyleton to insert the third set of bricks at the Veteran’s Memorial Tribute.
As the honorarium to our Veteran’s continues, the American Legion donated their proceeds to the Hoyleton Community Club, who in turn dedicated the funds to update the wall of honor of our area Veterans inside the building with Ron & Deb Holle readily volunteered to oversee the project. Matthew Kasten, Army Veteran formerly of Hoyleton, will design and manufacture the framing to hold the name plates.
Texas Hold ‘Em returns to the Community Club Building on Saturday, May 26. Ray Caplinger is chairing the event which features a $25.00 Buy-in with no re-buys. Any questions – contact Ray at 618-499-0202. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with cards being dealt at 7:00 p.m.
To commemorate the 50th Annual Hoyleton Hofbraufest, the Community Club is raffling a Henry Golden Boy rifle. The lucky winner of this unique heirloom piece will also be receiving a handsome wall display case to protect this treasure. Tickets are $5.00 each or 6 for $25.00 and are available at F&M and First State Bank of Hoffman, both Hoyleton locations.
