St. Ann Competes At State

Two members of the St. Ann Girls Track Team traveled down to Herrin for the SIJHSAA State Track Meet on May 12. Overall the St. Ann Girls Track team finished with nine points, which was good enough to tie for 18th place overall.
Talanie Kozuszek finished with a pair of third place finishes at the meet. Kozuszek finished third in the 8th Grade 100M Dash with a time of 13.32. Kozuszek cleared 4’8” to tie for third in the high jump.
Ruby Konkel finished in seventh place in the Discus with a throw of 84’04”
