Fullerton Wins Shimkus Sponsored Art Competition

United States Congressman John Shimkus (R-15, Maryville), RIGHT, came to Nashville Community High School on the morning of Monday, May 14, when he made a presentation of a certificate and framed print of “Rooted” a photograph taken by NCHS senior Holli Fullerton, LEFT, which won this year’s 15th District Art Competition. Fullerton’s photo will be on display at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., for one year. Fullerton shot the photo at Giant City State Park, south of Carbondale.
