Next Stop for the NCHS FFA Horticulture Team, National Competition

The Nashville FFA Horticulture team recently brought home the state title at the State Horticulture CDE held at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Members competed in activities that tested their ability to judge rings of plants, identify 50 plants from a list of over 200, take a 50 question test on basic knowledge of the Horticulture field, and tried their hand at landscaping and floral arrangement practicums.
The team did an outstanding job, as Austin Schorfheide was the second place individual, Riley Bergmann was the fourth place individual and Tabor Kozuszek was the fifth place individual.
In addition, the Horticulture team will be recognized on stage at State Convention!
