Master Gardeners Hold Spring Plant Swap
Washington County Master Gardeners set up a tent and tables at the Nashville Public Library’s parking lot on the morning of Saturday, May 26, for their annual Spring Plant Swap.
Master Gardeners present included, ABOVE, FROM LEFT, Felicity Rixmann, Leora McTall, Will Summers, Marlene Kahre, Majo Bates, Julie Karmeier, Janet Klie and Linda Summers.
The gardeners had a multitude of different plants available to trade or swap for other plants, or for a small donation, if a would-be gardener didn’t bring a plant of their own.

The best thing the gardeners have to offer though, is knowledge. Just as evidenced by the columns that they publish here in The Nashville News (like this one by Master Gardener Julie Karmeier, with tips on composting), the gardeners love gardening and are founts of facts and experience that they will gladly share with others, no matter their experience level.
