Mobile Market To Be In Nashville On June 19

The Mobile Market will make it’s next visit to Nashville on June 19 at 10 a.m. The market is set up on the third Tuesday of each month at the Washington County Fairgrounds in the Commercial Building.
Fresh produce, dairy and other perishable foods are offered for free to local community members on a first come, first served basis. There is no income verification required. Participants will need to bring their own bag, boxes or carts to carry items home.
The Mobile Market is brought to Nashville each month through a partnership between 4-H Hunger Ambassadors, Nashville FFA and the St. Louis Area Foodbank, with support from the Illinois 4-H Foundation, Washington County Farm Bureau and Washington County Fair Board.
The Mobile Market is seeking extra teen and/or adult volunteers for the summer months. This is a great community service opportunity for teens in Washington County. For more information, please call the Washington County Extension Office at 618-327-8881.
University of Illinois Extension provides equal opportunities in programs and employment. If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate in this program, contact the Extension office at (618) 327-8881.
