Marilyn L. Boehne

Mrs. Marilyn L. Boehne of Nashville, IL, departed this life at the Washington County Hospital in Nashville on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 8:44 AM. She had attained the age of 82 years, 3 months and 24 days.
Marilyn was born on February 23, 1936, the daughter of Melvin and Bertha (Niehaus) Holzhauer. She was united in marriage to Wallace Boehne on September 5, 1953 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville and he preceded her in death on April 26, 2011.
Marilyn worked at Farmers and Merchants National Bank in Nashville, IL for many years. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with John and Sharon, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed.
Left to mourn her passing is her daughter, Sharon Forys of Nashville; five grandchildren, Wendy Forys of Maryville, IL, Jessica Cameron and her husband Keith of Worden, IL, Traci Ritchey and her husband Jonathan of Stafford, VA, Jason Forys and his wife Jessie of Collinsville, IL and Scott Forys and wife Heather of St. Elmo, IL; eight great grandchildren, Annie, Mollie and Sydnie Forys, Madilyn and Chesney Cameron, Violet and Samuel Ritchey and Charlotte Forys; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son-in-law, John Forys.
Per the wishes of Marilyn and her family, cremation was performed and a private family service will be held at a later date. There will be no public services.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Nashville Public Library or a charity of the donor’s choice and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
