Police Report – June 20, 2018
June 4
The Nashville Police Department Responded to the 600 block of W. Alton St. for a suspicious activity.
Officers arrested Paul Frantz, of Nashville, for driving while license revoked, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and for obstructing justice. Paul was taken to the Washington County Jail and placed on a felony hold.
June 5
Police responded to the 200 block of E. Adams St. for suspicious activity.
Officers responded to the 100 block of S. Mill St. for an abandoned vehicle.
Police responded to the 700 block of S. Mill St. for a civil dispute.
Officers responded to the 400 block of E. Gorman St. for child custody issues.
Police responded to the 700 block of S. Broadway St. for neighbor issues.
Officers responded to the 600 block of W. Walnut St. for trespassing.
Police responded to the intersection of S. Mill St. and E. St. Louis St. for a two vehicle accident. A vehicle driven by Velincia Boswell, of Carbondale, did not stop in time at the red light and rear-ended a vehicle driven by William Dozier, of Carterville. There was no visible damage to either vehicle and both parties advised they did not request a state traffic crash report. Velincia was issued a citation for operating uninsured vehicle as a result of the crash.
June 6
Officers responded to the 11700 block of St. Rt. 127 for ministerial alliance.
Police responded to the 600 block of W. St. Louis St. for an ordinance violation.
Officers responded to the 100 block of N. Mill St. for found property.
Police responded to the 17500 block of Mockingbird Rd. for an alarm.
Officers arrested Roy Presutti of Nashville on a warrant for failure to appear.
June 7
Police responded to the 600 block of W. Walnut St. for a theft.
Officers responded to the 1400 block of W. St. Louis St. for a noise complaint.
Police responded to the 800 block of S. Mill St. for lines down in the roadway.
Officers responded to the 400 block of E. Gorman St. for a domestic dispute.
Police responded to the 18500 block of St. Rt. 15 for an alarm.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on Travis Burnett, of Nashville, for a traffic violation. As a result of the stop, Travis was arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of controlled substance (heroin), and for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Travis was also issued a citation for operating uninsured vehicle. Travis was taken to Washington County Jail where he was placed on a felony hold.
June 8
Police responded to the 300 block of S. Bryan St. for suspicious activity.
Officers spoke with Paige Anderson, of Tennessee, about getting a crash report. Paige stated she was driving into McDonalds when another vehicle driven by David Gould, Anna, was backing out of a parking spot, and both vehicles collided. Police report completed.
June 9
Police responded to Pudges Rd. to assist Washington County Sheriff’s Office with a domestic dispute.
Officers responded to the 11100 block of N. Mockingbird Rd for an alarm.
Police responded to the 18500 block of St. Rt. 15 for an alarm.
Officers responded to the 700 block of S. Broadway St. for a civil issue.
Police responded to the 800 block of W. Vernor St. for a domestic dispute.
Officers responded to the 600 block of W. Alton St. for a child custody dispute.
June 10
Police responded to the 900 block of W. St. Louis St. for a welfare check.
Officers responded to the 900 block of E. Lebanon St. for suspicious activity.
June 12
The Nashville Police Department responded to I-64 to assist Illinois State Police with locating a rolling domestic.
Officers responded to the 1400 block of W. St. Louis St. for a noise complaint.
Police responded to the 9000 block of St. Rt. 127 for a fire alarm.
Officers responded to Washington County Sheriff’s Department for a complaint of harassment.
Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on St. Rt. 127 in front of McDonald’s. Drivers involved were Joshua Meyers of Mt. Vernon, and Brianna Karch of Nashville. Joshua was taken from the scene by EMS to the Washington County Hospital. Joshua was heading north on St. Rt. 127 when Brianna attempted to cross St. Rt. 127, and in the process T-boned Joshua which caused him to spin out and end up in a ditch. Brianna was issued a citation for failing to yield at an intersection. She was also placed under arrest for a Clinton County Warrant. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Officers responded to 514 W. Walnut St. regarding a two-vehicle accident. No injuries were reported. Driver involved was James Stanley of Nashville and Lester Kretzer of Odin. James was backing out of the driveway and did not see Lester’s vehicle parked, and backed into the driver’s side of Lester’s vehicle. A crash report was completed on scene.
June 13
Police responded to the 18500 block of St. Rt. 15 for an alarm.
Officers responded to the 1100 block of S. Mill St. for a noise complaint.
Police responded to McDonald’s for an abandoned car.
Officers responded to the 400 block of W. Goodner St. for a 911 hang-up call.
Police responded to the 600 block of W. Goodner St. for a suicidal subject.
Officers responded to the BP Gas Station in Nashville for a report of three suspicious persons in the store. On arrival, officers arrested Jared Roberts of Marissa for Possession of Methamphetamine and possession of a hypodermic syringe. Casey Vance of Marissa was also arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
June 14
Police responded to the 100 block of S. Bryan St. for a fraud.
Officers responded to the 1400 block of W. St. Louis St. for a noise complaint.
Police responded to the 800 block of W. Vernor St. for trespassing.
June 15
Officers responded to the 18500 block of St. Rt. 15 for an alarm.
Police responded to the 600 block of E. National Mine Rd. for a disturbance.
Officers responded to the 700 block of S. Grand Ave. for fraud.
Police responded to the 300 block of E. Chester St. for a theft.
Officers responded to the 100 block of N. Mill St. for a dispute.
Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for several traffic violations. As a result of the stop, police arrested the driver, Anthony Redden, of Granite City, for unlawful use of a weapon and for unlawful display of registration plates. Anthony was also issued civil citations for unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and a traffic citation for operating uninsured vehicle. Anthony was taken to the Washington County Jail for the arrest.
June 16
Officers responded to the 100 block of E. Walnut St. for a suspicious vehicle.
Police responded to the 11000 block of Mockingbird Rd for an alarm.
Officers responded to the 800 block of W. Vernor St. for a fight.
Police responded to the 200 block of E. Elm St. for suspicious activity.
June 17
Officers responded to the 18500 block of St. Rt. 15 for an alarm.
Police responded to the 17500 block of Mockingbird Rd. for an alarm.
Officers responded to N. Mill St. at E. St. Louis St. for a stalled vehicle.
Police responded to the 18500 block of St. Rt. 15 for an alarm.
Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident on S. Mill St. at E. St. Louis St. A semi-truck, with trailer, driven by Oscar Cortez, of Texas, was driving north on S. Mill St. when it struck the rear of a car driven by Seth Ritchie, of Centralia, at the intersection of E. St. Louis St. No injuries were visible at the time of incident and all persons involved declined treatment by EMS at the scene.
