American Legion Post 110 to have free hot dogs, Henry rifle raffle for July 4
Next week we will observe the 242nd birthday of the greatest nation on earth, our good old USA, and what could be a better way to celebrate a 242nd birthday than to have hot dogs and watch some fireworks?
Nashville’s American Legion Post 110 will host a free hot dog meal for all comers on July 4th in conjunction with the community’s annual fireworks display in the City Park.
Post 110 will provide a hot dog on a bun, chips and a bottle of water to each person who arrives, at no cost, except maybe a “Thank You and a smile”.
Serving will begin at 7 pm and continue until supplies run out.
Don’t be late, don’t procrastinate, if you snooze you lose!
Post 110 is also having a raffle whose proceeds will be used to fund a scholarship for an NCHS student.
The raffle prize is a Henry Golden Boy .22 cal. Lever Action rifle, a beautifully made-in-the-USA firearm.
This could become a very desirable heirloom to be handed down to someone’s family for generations to come.
You are invited to take at look at it on July 4th at Post 110.
Who knows, buy a ticket for a good cause and you may become the owner of this beautiful Henry rifle.
The raffle winner will have the choice of accepting the rifle or taking $400 cash.
